SPARTACUS Gay Artist Print Hairy Paper Doll Sailor boy
This is a print by the gay artist Spartacus, whose work was featured on and in some of the early Physique Pictorial magazines. This print measures 8.5" x 12” and was meant to be a paper doll that originally came with a sheet of cut out clothes, which I do not have with this print. These were offered for sale through Physique Pictorial magazine.
Probably the first ever gay paper doll! The clothes did originally include a sailor outfit, a prefilled jockstrap, and a pair of shorts with a nice basket. A great piece of gay history! Very good condition with minor wear. The issue of Physique Pictorial that these were originally offered in was Volume 17 #2-4, published in 1969, and was the first ever full frontal nude magazine published legally in the US. If you’re looking for this issue, I have it also listed here.
