Original The Hun Print - Bill Schmeling "Manhole Chicago Bar" S2-8 Series 1991

Original S2-8 Vintage Print on paper by Bill Schmeling, aka, THE HUN!  Drawn in 1991. Bill sold these series of prints directly through his mail order business and this one has no particular title. It measures 8 1/2" x 11". This is the artwork used for the infamous MANHOLE Bar Ad Poster in Chicago. 
 
Condition is very good with no tears, pinholes, or tape. Suitable and ready for framing. I am not sure how many prints there were in this particular S2 series, but there are at least 18 of them.

Bill began producing erotic art in the 1960's for Physique Pictorial and other beefcake magazines under the name "Torro". Using the pen name The Hun, he began his own comic series, Hun Comics and Gohr, featuring sexual fantasy adventures of gay men. There are several books on The Hun. Bill lived in Portland Oregon and passed in 2019.
